Default L76 vs. Big Ugly Question...

Putting together a 6.0L. Using stock GM Parts L92 heads, and was thinking of doing the L76 intake & throttle body, injector kit from GM parts. Will it make more power than the "big ugly" truck manifold? What kind of power can I make with untouched L92's, stock short block, cam & longtubes? Going into a 69 F Body with a T56. I know the L76 is DBW VS. the stock 6.0L cable driven, but I'm not worried about the difference in the harness and getting the pedal. Mainly curious about the power difference with the intakes. Input is greatly appreciated.

Truck manifold has longer runners and larger plenum for better low end torque. Flipside is that there is some power given away up top.

May be more of a question of whether the truck manifold will fit under the bonnet.

Get the Ls3 intake, used if u want for about 250-300 here or on the camaro5 and corvette forums. It would be your best bet IMHO.

Clearance is a good point but I think guys have run the truck intake under 1st gen F-Body w/ the 2 1/2" cowl hood. So is the LS3 intake the L76? Also, one more question... Thinking about maybe stepping up to the CNC'd L92s like Scoggin Dickey offers. Is it worth it?

Ls3 and l76 are the same on the inside different on the outside, ls3 has bolt on map sensor l76 has clip on uses the same sensor as the ls1. May be more physical differences I'm no sure. Don't run the truck manifold I've heard you give up A ton compared to the small amount you get down low.

PCMforless did a back to back dyno test of the l92 intake vs the ls3 intake and the l92 made 10 rwhp more across the board than the ls3.

Interesting......I would assume the LS3 intake peaked higher though?
