Default Wat rings

Motor is hci 355. Im running speed pro forged pistons and scat forgeds rods. I plan on turning 6800 rpm and sprayin 200 shot. Also prefer not running file fit rings

Why not file fit rings? For that shot, it would be best to get a ring set gapped for that shot. To make sure its right, best to also do it in the cylinder bore.

Hellfire, or do what Im doing and have your builder custom spec the rings.

Total Seal or Hellfire seem to be the popular choices. Gapping the rings isn't all that bad. Just buy a decent gapping grinder. I used the one with the little grinding wheel that you turn by hand. Go slow and keep checking the gap. It's tedious and does suck a bit but it was just part of building the engine.

They sell a baller one with an electric motor but I didn't want to spend the $$.

im runnin a total seal advanced profiling ring set in my motor that im building now.......in your case id go with the tool steel top ring to handle the nitrous and open up the gaps a little bit.........i went with the cast moly ring for weight savings plus they will work better in my max effort NA motor....
