Need opinions on drag wheels!
So because of tax time I'm gonna be spending some cash on the car and wanted to get some help/opinions on a drag set up.
I'm looking for a 15-16in rim that will fit a LS1 f body without any grinding or having to get longer studs. Maybe like a 8in wide rear and 3.35 fronts or similar. My main point is I want it all to fit without any grinding or any of that even if it means having to go with a bigger wheel in the front.
Could someone tell me what my options are?
Thanks!

Weld RTS wheels in 15x4 fronts and 15x8 or 15x10 rears would fit with no grinding or spacers, but longer wheel studs is a good idea for ANY drag wheel, but not 100% neccessary if you're not using any spacers, which you wouldn't have to with RTS wheels. They also come in black or polished, and are SFI certified and streetable.

Would the summit pro star knock offs work without grinding in a 15x8 5.5BS? And 15x4 up front? What BS would I need on the front? Also, would I need spacers with these? And whats the max size DR I can run in the rear without the BFH mod lol

I just picked up a set of Racestar Industries Drag stars. Their 15" wheels fit a fbody perfect with plenty of brake clearance.
And they are priced well and look good. I just bought some 15x10s with 7.5" backspacing for the rear of mine and 15x3.75's for the front.

Yeah those are only a little more than the summits. Did you have to get extended studs?
And could some one give me the info on the summits? Just trying to compare guys. They're pretty cheap and I don't drag race much so if they'll fit without grinding I'll probably go with those

The summits will require you to grind the calipers just like a prostar or draglite would.
Racestar Drag Stars are a direct bolt on that requires no grinding. Racestar Drag stars are basically redesigned Greg Weld wheels that now clear big brakes where as the older Greg Weld version wouldn't.

I'm not 110% positive but I'm pretty sure a 15x8 will require the same grinding that most other 15" wheels do. I'm sure someone else on here can chime in and tell you a definite answer.
