Default RPM Install-Tune/Texas Speed VVT3 Camshaft = 76 rwhp Gains !!!

We just completed this install for a customer. He wanted to keep the VVT so we went with Texas Speeds VVT-3 camshaft. The results were amazing ! The car picked up 76 RWHP !! Not to mention the car had a Yank SS3200 converter. Here is a run down of the parts installed on the car.

Pre camshaft install

1 7/8" Headers w/ OR Mids
CAI Cold air kit
RPM Built 6L80E
Yank SS3200 Stall
RPM Motorsports Tune

2nd Round

TSP VVT-3 Camshaft
AFM Delete Kit
PAC 1518 Springs
TSP Pushrods
RPM Motorsports Tune

Great results! I love the VVT cams. TSP has done their homework on the VVT.

I am a VVT fan as well. I'd be interested in seeing a dyno overlay of another 2010 L99 Camaro with a non-VVT cam to see how the power under the curve compares. With so many shops churning out 450rwhp + L99 cars with fixed non-VVT cams, I'm interested to see how this compares to them in the low and mid-range. The increased power under the curve should be better with the VVT cam. If it's not, it's going to be a tougher sell.

Lots of top end power there. Looks like a 6800 rpm shift and maybe it makes it to 7k.
