2010 camaro manifolds for a fox swap?
Wondering if anybody has tested the fitment of 2010 camaro exhaust manifolds with an LS swap in a fox? There was a recent post that stated they fit but no clarification on issues with the steering shaft & no pics. Anybody else give this application a shot?

Ive never seen anyone use them. Obviously 2010 manifolds havent been around long enough for many if anyone to have tried. This swap is usually done to make awesome power in a lightweight, proven platform. I wouldnt cut corners on headers, especially for stock headers.

Obviously you are correct. I guess mine is "unusual" since I'm swapping a stock motor in, not looking for huge power (at least initially). I can't imagine these manifolds holding the Gen3 motors back much, the new camaros make about 425hp thru them in stock form. I'm planning on giving them a shot, just wanted to know if someone already has & found fitment problems.

There was another board member who posted a couple pics of this setup last month. They fit the foxbody swaps with no need for any modifications. Haven't set the motor in my 95 yet, may do a test fit this weekend.
Also (if you're interested) I have 2 sets of 2010 camaro manifolds, looking to sell 1 of them.

Well, it took me 2 months to get to this but here are the pics of the 2010 manifolds installed. FYI, the car is a 95 GT. Steering rack, rag joint, & shaft are stock. These things fit like a glove, even slid them on with all 8 spark plugs in the engine. There are no clearance issues at all, at least 3/4" clearance everywhere.
If anybody needs a pair of these I have 2 sets and only need 1. PM me if interested. Now on to the pics.
Edit, extra set sale pending to dmracing. That didn't take long.

Boostnut,
Will you please post a pic of the driver side manifold from straight above?
A measuring tape in the pic for scale would be awesome too.
I am looking for a manifold to work on my bel air. I need something to clear my steering box and it kinda looks like these might work.
The truck manifold was too wide at about the number 5 exhaust port.
Thanks for the help.

Belair, here are the pics you requested. I would not trust the measurements from the pics with the tape measure, the camera angle was off making the measurements useless. I grabbed the passenger side manifold and got a couple good pics of it laid on a flat surface with a square behind it for reference. It's height appears to be about 3-1/4", the drivers side looks to be the same. Good luck with your project!

I know the fox bodies and SN95s are just about the same platform. However, did Ford change the steering shaft or steering rack or anything? From what I understand 4.6 SOHC motor stands and/or mounts fit the LS, are you using 4.6 mounts or what? I don't have first-hand experience with this swap, just stirring ideas here.
