Street Racers ** Come in** Hey guys - Nat Geo is doing a show here in LA about street/strip guys. They contacted me to get in touch some people they can follow.
LA Invasion was put together to give us some track time, but I know, not everyone wants their times posted for all to see.
Would you guys be interested in coming to the event to race if we did a lane where the time boards were shut down?
basically, you could negotiate your race in the pits and then run with the lights to start but no times displays or timeslips.
They are doing this in Chicago and it has been a hit there.
It also takes the street racing and puts it on the track in a safe environment.
Let me know your thoughts
They are starting filming soon as she said that while they may come to LA Invasion, they want to start sooner and follow the crowd all summer.

No prob, they can sign up, I need to get enough people on board to make it worth doing.

Yeah, it's fun cuz you can bluff other people...IE, like on the street. Makes it even more interesting if they run the tracks backwards and the track prep is up to you. Oh yah, no lights, you have someone flagging the start

looks like we are getting some positive feedback for this idea. I will talk to the track about setting up a lane for Grudge racing with no timing.
All you guys will have to do is sign up for the TNT and they will announce which lane that day. then just line up in single file in the pairs you want to run. If it gets out of whack you just tell the guy at the front who you want to run and he will get it straightened out.
