I have a 2000 Pontiac trans am ws6, and decided to upgrade the clutch, I have a brand new t56 trans, and I put a spec stage 4 clutch in it and now my car won't go into gear, if I try to start in gear it will try to go. I have tried bleeding the clutch over and over again, I even tried using a mighty vac, keep in mind my car was driving just fine til I did this, someone help this car is being a real PITA

What flywheel is being used? Was it resurfaced? What method of bleeding are you using? If you have not been using a Mighty-Vac, and if you have not bled from the reservoir as well as from the bleeder which is located off the slave then do this and let me know what results you see. Additionally, did you put a new slave in the car with the clutch?

Ya I have been using a might vac and tried the bottom as well, I have a centerforce flywheel and did have it resurfaced, and my slave cylinder only has 1500 miles on it

Do you know how much material was removed from the flywheel? If more than .015" was taken off it will affect overall geometry.

All they told me was the didn't have to take off much, my flywheel wasnt bad just had a couple hot spots

do you have presser at the pedal and when you bleed it does the fluid shoot out or just dribble

Always, always, always check the install dimensions when installing a clutch. It is more important w/ some brands than w/ others. Once you get it right & it is releasing, make sure to allow the 500 mile break in. This gives the clutch time to wear in any miss-alignments that exist.

Yes I have pressure, can't really tell cause I have a socket over it so it just all runs out the bellhousing

Unfortunately without know how much was removed from the flywheel it is hard to know if that is part of the issue. "Much" is a relative term that can be .005 or .030". If you are confident that you have all the air out then all you can really do is pull it and check the measurement.

You need to measure the stack height of the unit, with the clutch and disc mounted to the flywheel measure from the crank mounting surface to the diaphragm finger peak. The measurement should be 3.050" when using our parts with a new flywheel. Let me know what you find. Thanks,

Well I got the clutch all worked out, drove it for about a week, now as I'm letting off the clutch it makes a loud like grinding spinning sound

It does feel higher and sometimes it's a little harder going into gear
