Default Car won't go into PE (open loop 2)

I recently been noticing that my car stays in closed loop at 100% throttle. What could be keeping the pcm from switching to ol2(open loop 2) otherwise know as Power enrichment. All my PE settings are stock except for the PE by rpm multiplier. What can I do to fix this.

have you verified that your car is actually seeing 100%TPS?

I have been able to control my open loop transition with the WOT Cold table. Not sure if something else might be affecting your situation...

Deezel, please explain how the WOT cold helps you control your transition to PE mode

sorry I missed the replies earlier...

Lets be clear about what were calling PE mode. What I mean by PE mode is when the fueling goes into open loop and the commanded AFR goes from 14.7 down to the 12-12.5 range. I always see FTC 15 for WOT on my truck, never cell 22 like some of the cars do.
My factory tune had the WOT tables set at 90% tps, and I would only see PE mode with full throttle. I have since adjusted the WOT cold table to start at 80%tps at the low rpm range and ramp down to 50%tps by 3600rpm. This change enters PE mode sooner and does not always require full throttle.
Hope this helps...

My WOT table temp is 142*. Did you change the temp here? If so was the reason that the cold table is the first look up? If not then why not just reduce the HOT table since this is most likely where you would be using PE mode?

Got some interesting news. When I log my buddies truck his truck goes into cell 22 and ol2 at wot. But my car goes to cell 15 and stays in cl1. Sometimes it goes to cell 22 but stays in cl1. But whats interesting is that I zeroed out knock retard from 4000 up. When I recently logged knock retard zeroed out past 4000 rpm. So I guess my pcm doesn't go in ol2 then.

I did not change the WOT hot temp. That is for when the engine is too hot (142*C is way over the boiling point of water).

So how do you know the difference between cl1, cl2, ol1, and ol2??? Is there a flag that I can monitor for this?
Also, I wasn't quite clear on your results on the KR change. Are you saying that zeroing out your KR table changed the OL vs CL transition?
TIA

What I meant about zeroing out my knock sensor at wot. There is a knock vs pe that is displayed by rpm. I zerod the 98 knock problem in this table in edit. Which means that it zeroed when I went to wot and cell 15 at 4000 rpm and it was in cl1 closed loop. So my computer does not go to closed loop for pe then. Or just doesn't show it.
