Default Vic Jr Intake Installs, Pics, Results, Pro's, Cons, On L92/LS3 Heads.

I am going to be finally installing a Vic Jr intake port matched an plumbed for spray on my car with a 4150 TB. Guy i am looking for anything about this intake that i can find like the title of this thread says. I am currently running a 11:5:1 LQ9 LME 408 forged bottom end with all the supporting mods, deletes an bolt-ons to keep this thing living. I am looking for anything on these intakes including pics, dyno's, installs, pro's, con's, mods, deletes, extra's, or anything else that i will need to install this on my car. If you guys have part numbers as well that would be great thanks.

Im doing about the same build as you. I searched everywhere and couldnt find any results on a 4150 set-up on l92's, except in gm hightech mag they did a dyno between a stocker and a elbow and 4150 tb, the 4150 won hands down.

Compared to stock intakes they give up low/mid torque for upper rpm power. What's best depend how big your cam is and your operating range. What gears are you running? The not all elbows are equal Wilson elbows are among the best

Try and get a hold of Flaco or a guy named Morris. They have a car that has the Jr and a direct port it made in the 800RWHP range on the dyno. The dyno pull is on u-tube.

My camshaft stars turning on where the L76 falls off so it's a bad trade off for the what the motor could be making for damn sure... I'm trying to get dynos, pics, or anything i can to get a better idea on what it costs to set one of these up on my car because even as a power adder later on down the road it's still gonna be my best bet for sure.

Have you looked into getting one of the CNC 2 Piece Intake Manifolds?
They Seem to be a big improvement over the vic jr ones. Mastmotorsports is making them but they are a lot $$$$.
LS3 4150 EFI P/N 501-003
• CAD designed and Super Flow flow bench tested
• Fully CNC machined, fully ported and hand finished
• Purpose built racing intakes maximize intake port velocity and airflow

What are the specs on the cam? Lsa needs to be 110 or lower. Something in the high 240's to low 250's. My l92's did over 730fwhp with a GMPP intake and a 900cfm carb.
