Default atf+3 vs dex 3

whats the difference... some say there is no difference and some say its not even similar... is the atf+3 ok to use in a 4l60e. its what my local auto parts store has on hand thats why im asking...

If you have an oriellys they can get dex6 pretty cheap. Walmart carries it too for 3.79 in my area. Much better stuff then 3

no im in a town with 5000 people. the auto parts stores here blow *****... but i can do wal mart i suppose... thats 40 miles away lol

O wow, yea as to your original question I don't know if they are interchangeable. But I can tell you that you'll get a different answer with every person you ask

a friend of mine has a additive that you can add to dexmerc 3 from walmart..it will be alot cheaper then the TCI stuff.I will ask him what it is.

I run the Valvoline dex/merc. It meets the dex III standards, and even FLT said run whatever meets the standards.

i didnt ask what everyone is running... if people read correct i asked if atf+3 is the same as dex/merc 3
