Default spring questions

new to the fbody world, just bought a 98 t/a ws6 was told by the dealer its stock and sure enough...its not. the exhuast is catback but theres NO names on ANY of the exhuast ANYWHERE. Any Ideas on what it is? Also, just jacked the car up to change the oil and saw eibach springs up front. Did these cars come with these as part of the performance package? the backs look thinner and have orange shocks. Any ideas? Thanks

That could be a corsa system, ther may be a name on the topside of the muffler, Or it could be a cheap aftermarket muffler with some clone tips. The Eibach springs are not OEM, they may have been installed to lower the ride height by the previous owner. If they did that I would sa that the exhaust system is prolly not a cheapo.

Ya one of the shots is from the top side of the mufler and theres no name on it, under it, around it, or over it...period. But wouldnt exhuast companies want their name on their product no matter how cheap? lol

I know my flowmaster, borlas, dynomaxes, and hookers did on the multiple cars I put them on. Heck even my el cheapo thrush mufflers had their name stamped in em on my truck.

what are some good shocks for these cars? back isnt lowered at all but the front is with eibach springs and im assuming its just the smallest drop as they have the black springs. and Im not racing it or anything its actually a daily driver and 95 percent highway driving.

Bilstein shocks are great for these cars. Also there are much better options than Eibach for springs. Check the suspension section.
