Default I found another Bowtie Block (GM Race Shop)

Check this out. I found this on racingjunk.com. I called the guy and he confirmed it is the race shop Bowtie block. His son worked with Bob Cross at GM and aquired one of these blocks.

Only problem. He will not separate the block from the engine sale. Only wants to sell as a full engine combo.

DAMMIT!

He has everything listed like it would be separate.I wonder if you gave him a decent offer for it say like 2000 if he would go for it.Roller cam bearings would be nice.

Very cool, shame he wont separate.

I can't wait to see a running bowtie block build, preferably in something thats not just a dedicated drag car...

Tony, couldn't you sell off some stuff and recoup half the cost? That would be worth it IMO if you have the money up front.

Not feasible for me. I am willing to give him 2K for the block alone if he will part with it.

If I ever get one I will want to purchase a 4.00" stroke forged crank, new slugs, new cam,.......etc.
