Is there anybody out there???????????
I sold my circle d converter so i pulled my tranny to get it out. Transmission was locKing up perfect this was a sunday when i pulled it , on tuesday my bran new stall showed up and we installed it and now it dosent lock up..
We thought it was the new converter so we installed the original stock converter and it dose the same thing..
My brother tried making it lock up by mannually commanding it from his (hp tunners)and we get nothing from both converters
(new and stock)
what can it be??????? Oh its a 4l60e on a 2000 silverado NEW CONVERTER IS A PTC 3800
thanks in advance

I know there is a speed sensor on the trans or something of that nature. I don't know where or what it's called but if u bumped that and it unhooked it wont send the proper speed signal and could cause this problem. I'd check all your connections, and make sure no wires popped out of the pins, etc.

As stated above, i would deffinantly check all sensors and connections, which im sure u have several times. I had a problem similar to this a few months back with one of the cars i was working on. One of the connection wires was ever so slightly cut. I fixed that and replaced the fluid in the tranny and it worked fine.. Hope you figure it out brother. GL. Chris.

All good advise already said in this thread. The other thing I would mention would be the turbine shaft O-ring. If this is missing or severely damaged you will have lock up issues. Vince
