Exclamation Best Price & Place to buy Adaptors & Ext. Harness for LS3 into 2001 F-Body -Need ASAP

Hi guys,

I'm installing a built LS3 into my 2001 Camaro SS M6 as I type and I am going to need a few adaptors and extensions to make it all work. I'm surprised there isn't a sticky of some sort since I know a lot of people do this.

I will be using a LS3 Intake with LS3 injectors and most likey I will reuse my LS1 MAP sensor unless someone has a reason not too.

I need the following:

- LS3 Injector to LS1 Harness (Injector Adapter EV6 to EV1)
- LS1 Knock Sensor / Cam Sensor Wiring Harness Extension
- LS1 MAP Sensor Extension

Who sells the best quality parts that I need at a good price?

I need to order ASAP.

Thanks in advance....

Bill

The Injector adapters, I'd try Fuel Injection Connection, Or maybe Lonnies.

The other adapters, Scoggin Dickey or Texas speed, also Speartech, Or Ktech.... Etc...

I've bought a few items from GMPartsdirect.
They usually have a picture of the part as well...which helps with making sure you are ordering the right thing.

I have bought the injector adapters from http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/ as well...for another project.

dang they would look alot cleaner, i have the other style. I'v been thinking about cutting the ls1 injector connectors off and actually installing the USCAR connectors, by soldering the pins into my harness.... just for a cleaner look.

Racetronix to you guys sell the connector sets with the pins to solder into the wiring harness? Or is there any chance i can use my injector adapters, by pushing the pins out of the USCAR plug and just solder new pins onto my wiring harness and pushing them into the USCAR connector?

Assuming you haven't changed the reluctor wheel in the LS3, you will need a reluctor wheel converter. Last time I checked, Lingenfelter was the only company that made one.

Go with the second style fuel injector converters. I had some of the wire style from Fast, and they were complete garbage.

Racetronix makes some good stuff, never had problems out of mine.
