Default Changing parameters with someone elses diablosport?

Whats up all. This past weekend I installed an S60 with 4.10s from my stock 10 bolt with 3.42s. Im tuned by Slowhawk, but he is 3 hours away from me, and I dont want to be without my car if I mail him my PCM. Long story short, my buddy has a diablosport for his 99z28, and mine is a 00. Can I change the gear ratio with his hand held without erasing my tune? Will it work with my different year/vin car? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can upload the Slowhawk tune onto the predator and change it that way, but then your buddy will not be able to use his tuner because it's now tied to your own car.

At the same time, your buddy will have to load the stock tune onto his current car so that it frees up the predator to be used on yours.

Then as long as the handheld unit is unlocked, you should be able to download your current tune, modify it and put it back on your car.

Buy yourself a second PCM and get it flashed to the
vehicle by a dealer. Now you can have the two of
them ping-ponging, drive with the one while the other
is getting present-tune-plus-tweaks. Set you back
under a hundred bucks. Plenty of truck, van and
Camaro PCMs in the boneyard and on eBay these days.
