Default 20 bucks a spark plug? Come on guys!

Now go look at some Bosch Platinum +4's and tell me what the difference is, other than the price tag.

And FWIW, my dad loves using **** like this and they never last. His latest kick was the E3 Diamond fire and they failed all the time (moms Turbo PT Cruiser). The last one I pulled out was missing the entire electrode and ceramic insulator. I told him to stop buying that crap and stick some NGK's in there lol He's lucky it didn't hurt the turbine

I thought that the +4 style plugs sucked on v8 cars... I had some +2's in the old ford that worked ok but it was a 4 banger..

I thought they sucked in all cars? The spark only jumps to one, the rest just shroud the spark.

This is just a follow-on to the old "Splitfire" spark plugs. Pretty soon someone will be selling a spark plug with the center electrode completely enclosed in a grounded dome. The Bosch +∞

Bingo! The fact that Bosch has managed for so long to market the Bosch +4 as a "premium" plug just highlights how little the average consumer understands about anything technical.

They're not D3 spark plugs, they're Torquemaster spark plugs marketed through D3. Purchasing them directly from Torquemaster is far cheaper.

They do make stuff for us. Plenty of it. But 400 bucks for solid mounts? 160 bucks for 8 plugs? Anybody would be plum ******* crazy to pay that.

They seem to make stuff on off for customers, while they bulk make stuff for the v2.

Installed a set for a customer & he only made it 400 miles untill he developed a miss. Dealer charged him $175 to put stock plugs back in.
