Default k&n cold air or slp air lid

just bought me a camaro. they selling me a k&n cold air kit. and smooth bellow, im stuck. which one is better the

k&n cold air kit

or

slp air lid.

My buddy with a H/C LS1 car swapped from a SLP lid and stock MAF to a K&N FIPK along with a GM 85mm MAF and picked up 8rwhp with a retune. I couldn't tell you how much came from each though.

^+1 I've been over this they equate to the same and maybe the FIPK might get better Dyno numbers but bang for the buck go with the lid+ram air mod..

SLP Lip + K&N Drop in filter + 1 hour of cutting and install=Good CAI

P.s. What year Camaro?

ram air...psssst. The ram air one where you gotta hack up the intake? Looks like an irreversible pain in the ***. Even the stock "ram air!" its same exact thing as regular air box, just the opening under the filter is like an extra inch higher.
