Newb to nitrous. Have a few questions.
I have a 99 A4, 2800 Yank, Pacesetter LT's and ORY, SLP Lid, GMS MAF, HPP3, and Borla Catback. I just got a TSP 224R cam installed a few weeks ago. I am considering a small shot of nitrous. 100 or less. What brand should I consider and what should I be aware of?

TNT is the kit to go with in my opinion. NX is a very decent company, but the "bang for buck" factor I think is superior with TNT because you get a top notch kit for around 600.00 where as the MAF ends kit from NX costs more and you don't get the same quality. TNT also makes outstanding power. With an F1 kit, a 222-226 cam, stock heads, and a 3200 vigilante stall, I made 371 on motor and 503 rwhp and 543 rwt on bottle. Check out their website at www.texasnitroustechnology.com. Make sure you set it up safely though. A window kit and Fuel Safety Shut off are steps in the right direction.

I have a TNT wet kit and was very happy with it on a lightly modded car. I didnt even tune it, or use a FPSS or window switch. It just rocked out of the box! Now that I have a big heads/cam set-up, I am having some issues. I think my in-line fuel pump isn't up to the task of volume even though the pressure stays up. TNT makes an affordable, great quality kit with an easy install. I have since added a purge, heater and MSD window switch with great results.

for the power level your looking for any kit will work for you. you will have to change plugs and gap, i do recommend at least a FP gauge where you can monitor it, a window switch for lower and upper RPM limits is also recommended. IMO Dry is the safest route with equal fuel to all cylinders for your application but any of the kits above work very well also. just keep within the chosen mfg's installation guidelines and you will be fine.

If you do choose a dry kit, you will most likely need new injectors and a fuel pump. If I remember correctly 99's have the smallest injector of any year. The only reason I personally don't care for a dry kit is you rely on the PCM to add additional fuel. By allowing the PCM to do this, I have seen a few kits go lean. Not something to want on a dry kit. I have heard you can adjust the PCM so that it dumps more fuel when the n20 is activated.
