Default New best!

12.44@ 107.93

1.72 60 foot

02 SS a4

TSP 85mm lid
SLP 85mm MAF
FTRA
ASP Underdrive pulley
TCI 3800 converter
Drag Radials on stock rims
that's it.

Is that good for mods? I ran the car full weight minus the spare. Found out you really gotta heat those Nittos up good for them to stick.

It's a really good ET, I'm just suprised on a 1.72 60' you damn near equaled my ET from last week running 4 mph slower at the end. Can you type your slip in beside mine? I know you must be going through the traps in 3rd gear, but you must be killing me mid range for awhile. Here is what my slip looked like from last weekend. BTW, your moving, Fred

Very good ET for that mph. Traction was your best friend on that pass. I see guys running 13.7's @ 107mph. You're putting your power to the ground. Nice job.

I could only break into the 7's in the 1/8th with a 90mph+ trap speed in my stock covertered LS1. I was trapping 117mph in the 1/4 at the time. Shows what a good 'verter can do for you.

A lot of people discounted TCI when it comes to converters but they've been around forever and know what they're doing. This converter rocks I'm very happy with it, and paid about $480 for it brand new.

117 mph traps in my car would net me mid 11's easy, that would be nice.

I could only muster a 12.2 when trapping 117mph. That was with the stock 'verter an it was on Kumho's mind you. You just can't get the ET out of an A4 without a good stall converter.

I agree. Its pointless to mod an A4 if you aren't going to do the converter.. When I had the stock converter I caught a 1.9 60' and went 13.2. that was the car was stock though.

I wouldn't call it pointless. The stock 'verter is a huge obstacle to overcome though. I was able to go 11.50's on it with only a lid, catback, & nitrous on street radials. Not too shabby.
