Default Low Numbers or Does It Sound Right

Got on the dyno yesterday and I put down 417 hp and 386 tq. Mods are a 228r cam on a 112 lsa, Patriot stg 2 243 heads 11:1 comp, fast 102 & throttle body, 85mm maf slp ud pully and tsp 1 7/8 headers no cats. Im on stock injectors and my a/f was good but they are pushing 99% duty cycle (thats my next upgrade)

I did dyno on heavy Torque Thrust Wheels but I didnt think that would affect it that much. I know it might be my heads that are killing the power but I thought I would be at 430 easily and above 400 tq with my mods.

cars an m6 with a monster stg 3 clutch & stock rear

I think we were pulling 26 and hit 414 and then we added 2 degress to keep it safe of the injectors and hit 418 so I think im at 28

Was it running lean at all? I thought a 102 was too big for a stock cube LS1?

Common myth.

Take it to the track. There is more than 10rwhp difference between dynos. They are tools.

But I don't think they are that far off anyway, plenty of people with big *** cams and ported GM castings are just over 430rwhp, a 228R is great cam but not huge.

Just as a reference, my car made 427rwhp & 395tq with the following mods which are not to far from what you have. The dyno was RPM`s in DE.
228R 112lsa
2.5 5.3 TSP heads, ported FAST 92, 1 3/4 headers(no cats)
MWC 9'' 3.70 gear
Circle D 4C stall (3600-3800)

I think your numbers are in the ballpark, but like you said already, I would look at upgrading injectors.

It's low.. it seems you have a bunch of parts that don't work togeather. when that happens, this is what you get.

If it was my build, I'd be scratching my head and be pissed about the #'s. Way low IMO.

Every dyno can be different, if you don't have a before dyno to compare to there's no since in comparing numbers to others who haven't been on this dyno. The Patriot heads are holding you back imho, that and you need to get some better injectors in there asap to ensure you're not going lean in different weather conditions, which can effect duty cycle.

Yea I plan on getting bigger injectors within the next week or so. Hopefully when they come we can up the tune a bit and get where I thought I would be at.

Something is always a little weird with the 228R. I had one in my car years ago with stock LS1 intake and stock heads. put down 368 rwhp. swapped to the Torquer2 and spun 385 rwhp with no other changes.
