new cam new stall?
hey fellas i just got a new cam specd out by geoff of eps.. and its a 23*/25* 61*/63* /113 lsa
and my stall is currently a 4400 stall in a th400... do i need a bigger stall to make this cam work proper or should i be fine?i was talkin with a buddy of mine n he said that cam is way to small for my stall..and to be driving it around town a bit would kill the tranny..
setup is is lsx based motor with ls3/l92 heads manifold set up..car is a 99 fbody

Your not telling us anything about ur car.
Weight?
Gear ratio?
DD or pure race or both?
U could get away with less stall I'm sure but the way u actually do it is to dyno the motor and let it's torque curve tell u where it should stall. Custom motors benefit most from custom stalls IMO.
