Default Need hi flow cat option for my Maggied 05

Have Kooks and catback with gutted cats. Too loud. Who makes a good bolt in replacement for the stockers?

If you want bolt in, I'd say go with the Kooks to match your headers... otherwise I'd recommend Random Technology for cats.

I got a set through true bendz...it took awhile to get the product, but the fitment and quality is awesome, not to mention the price.

Yeah I have the trubendz magnaflow cats as well. They bolt up ok but the gaskets they provide keep blowing out on me. I think I finally found a decent replacement at autozone. The weird donut gaskets that they use between the cat and cat-back system is kinda funky too but does seal up. I wish they would have just used the stock donut part. I had a bit of a fitment issue when mating up to my magnaflow cat-back but it worked out. Overall I'm happy with them and they seem like quality pieces and a much lower cost alternative to the random technology cats.

There is more info in the thread about them on the CF site...check there and search on truebendz.

That's pretty funny, they used the pic I posted of my cats when they were delivered. I used to stock donut pieces, and haven't had any issues with the other gaskets blowing out as of yet (knock on wood)

How did you remove the wierd donut like pieces on the cats they sent you? They looked like they couldn't be removed.

unless i am missing something, the trubendz wont work with Kooks, you are going to have to use either the kooks cats that were designed for those headers, or you will have to fab something up.

What is the rest of your exhaust system? I have Kooks with a Corsa catback so I basically want a catted connector.

Go with the kooks high flow cats. I run them with the factory resonator and no mufflers and its still not that loud.

I can't find them on their site. Do you have a vendor?
