Default 04 Z06 - Bolt on/EPS Cam Only

For the non readers: 422 RWHP 382 RWTQ on a Mustang Dyno.

This is my Grandfathers car. I convinced him to call Geoff and go with an EPS cam. The goal was max HP with no cam surge or bucking. Stock driveability, minimal lope, no fuel smell.. After he ordered it he had doubts and thought he should of went with a proven LG cam. I knew the cam would deliver but wasn't sure if the driveability would meet his super picky standards. So far this cam has exceeded expectations.

The Car...

04 Z06(5,700 miles!!)
LG Longtubes
LG Cat Back
High Flow Cats
Honker CAI
Callaway 78mm Throttle Body
Ford 30lb Injectors
Katech Timing chain and oil pump
TEA dual spring kit
EPS 226/234 .598/.602 113+2

The car put down 365/340 on a mustang dyno before the cam. 393rwhp on a dynojet.

BTW, Bryan(Sunset01TA)did an excellent job on the tune. Hopefully we can get some track numbers soon. It wont be ET'ing that great due to stock clutch and tires but I'm thinking a 123mph trap would be sweet..

Just curious, did you change pushrods to 7.425 length?

Thanks for the compliments! Car drives great and even lugs around in 5th gear on the street with no surge or bucking. Extremely tame. I will post a better after tune clip of the exhaust.

The 7.425 pushrods fit perfect and there is very minimal valvetrain noise at all. He wants to do a 102/102 next... that will probably be after some new drag radials though.

Let Advanced Induction work the heads, add a 102/102 combo, retune and be ready for 460 or 470 mild mannered rear wheel ponies.

Nice results. Your right about the ET...it won't be that great with dried out stock tires and the stock clutch. Trap speed will help validate his dyno at least. Geoff specs out some good cams.

Ordered and talked to Geoff at EPS yesterday. My PatG cam will ship out to me in a week or so. Can't wait to see how it performs.

Great numbers... I want to see what a 102 will do for you as well
