my times werent too good today considering it was 90 degrees today in jersey... but i ran around 14.1-14.2's my best with this car is a 13.88... i usually run 13.9's consistantly @ about 98-101 mph tho...with the grand prix i take my front headlight out...i dont have a CAI so i take the air filter off i do a burnout in the beginning .. stage shallow front tire pressure i put to 20 rear tire pressure to 50 (street tires) and baby it out dont mash it if your running street tires gotta eas into it or youll spin... obviously take out all weight lol and run like 1/8-1/4 of a tank...overall i won my first round... and then i lost second broke out...im from edison nj and i raced at englishtown today for pontiac day...btw howe much do the impalas weigh? i weighed in today at 3566 without me in it!

Not bad, last time I weighed mine it was ~3600 with me in it and I weigh 275.

Impalas are around 3700.

Cool video, thanks for sharing. Those were some good launches on street tires. Did you apply the parking brake to do a burnout?

If i may make a comment... i noticed in the video's that you are keeping it in drive the whole time.... When i go to track i keep it in Drive till the 1-2 shift them slip the gear selector down into manual mode... This keeps the car from doing the early up shift into 3rd.. Which i noticed on your video's happens just shy of the end of the track.. so instead of a wasted shift at 92 mph you keep it in second (im my car is 102mph) might just help your times out a bit.. You have done that before but i thought i would through that out there. and good launches
