F#*K! Oil Pressure Gauge is all over the place
i noticed when i was driving, my SES light came on and my oil pressure gauge was all over the place. when it was at idle it was bouncing between 20-30 and when i was moving at about 2k RPMs (i was a mile from home so i took it slow) it was bouncing all around between 30-40 but it would not be in one place at a constant rpm. im going to scan the code to see what it is but could the gauge just go bad? i know the pressure is not normal because i usually get a stable 50

Mine started fluttering a bit at idle from time to time over the winter when I would start it up every week or so. I've had it out a few times this year and I've seen it again twice. Seems to only do it at full operating temp. It'll be constant at 55-60 while driving then while idling at a stop sometimes it'll flutter between 40-45. I'm thinking the sender is crappin out. I just changed oil and filter 2 weeks ago and mine still does it. I need to dig into this a little more and see whats up. I'm curious as to what ya find.

Mine does it as well, after the car warms up it will actually go down to zero at idle and the check gauges light flickers on.. but the car stays running normal idle with no noises, and upon acceleration it goes up about 10psi per 1k RPM So my assumption is the gauge or sending unit on mine. but im gonna get the pressure checked anyways just to be safe.
