IMO I'd go w/ the machined ones, I've never been a fan of black wheels.

Hows his car look? Black fits right in with a RED car. So im a little lost with you saying it wouldnt fit but if i can see some pics of the OP's car. Then i could really decide on what would look better but IMO, both machined & black would look good on a red car. Just depends on what look your going for.

depends on the stripes really. theres a red ss with 35th anniversary stripes but that has those wheels in black and looks pretty good. then again his stripes are silver.

http://www.oewheelsllc.com/gallery.html go to camaro SS and you will see it on there. it belongs for a member from here but I can't recall his sn.

^ I'm with him, polished, lol. But if that's out of the question, I'd say the machined C5's.

so i read that the machined face wheels from oewheels come with "chrome" center caps not machined looking caps and they look a little off. so i had the idea of getting some brushed aluminum vinyl and putting that over the center caps. has anyone tried this?

If your sail panel and mirrors are black, the the black wheels, if not, then the machine finished.

I was going to get a set of the black ones for my red 98.

that does look great! thats the car i have too. the 35th LE. so my car would look exactlly like that. Im just not sure if the black wheels will be like a fad that will go out of style and i will end up not liking them down the road. But as of right now i think they look absolutly amazing on that car.
