Default Our 66 Chevelle Pro-Touring LS swap

Alright, since I did a lot of research on this site I figured I would post some pictures of a swap we just "completed" in our 66 Chevelle. Long story short, we bought the car Memorial Day weekend 2002 in Yuba City, CA and worked on it until it hit the road last Memorial Day weekend. It was a fairly mild 454 and we had a blast with it going to P-T events. Bottom line though, it just was too heavy and didn't make the power we were looking for. So, we bought a low mile 08 Cadillac Escalade L92 last November. Here are some pictures.

Here's the L92 soon after we brought it home. We also bought an LS3 intake for it from the same guy.

I'm just a regular guy, but I love to fabricate as much as I can. Here's a bracket we made to mount our new hydraulic clutch master cylinder.

Still some bugs to work out, but we now have about 300 miles on it and one auto-x event. It's a rocket ship compared to what it was with the 454.

Just in case someone wants to fill in the blanks on the build, here is my Pro-Touring.com build thread. It's hard to believe how many things have changed since we started.

Or, this one on chevelles.com goes back even further.

Thanks John.
We went with the Mast pan. I've made so many sets of those blocks it's not funny. I even have treated ones holding up parts cars in the field.

Thanks! I should have started a thread over here as soon as we made the swap decision. More importantly, thanks to you, I now have 50 posts and can post a couple left over parts in the classified section here!

I have been thru your entire build, and cant find how you mounted the master cyl to the firewall, just your bracket for the resivoir. You have any pics of the other mount?

It's actually a direct fit kit from Keisler Engineering, but I mounted it a little differnet so I used a piece of .25" aluminum to mount it to. I didn't get too many pictures, but this should give you an idea. The Keisler kit comes with a nice billet aluminum bracket to mount the wilwood master to. Hope this helps.

It has a Tremec T-56 (Viper with front plate and input shaft from LS installed)
It was a 4.56 until September last year when we installed a more usable 3.73.
I've yet to weigh the car. Really wish I had a before and after swap weight.
