Default Help! Anyone running a Spohn DSL Crossmember (part#405) with Eibach Sportline Springs

Was wondering if anyone is running the Spohn Adj Tq Arm with the DSL Crossmember for LT Headers and Y-Pipe(Part# 405):

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...e.php?pID=2466

Im wondering what the ground clearance is becsause i have the flat DSL Crossmemeber;

(http://www.google.com/search?q=spohn...w=1345&bih=506 Part# 402)

because it says its safe for running Kooks LT's and good ground clearance for lowered cars. My car has kooks 1 7/8 and is dropped on eibach sportlines with 19" chrome c5z wheels so i was wondering if anyone has any issues with this. i want to run the other dsl crossmember so i can fit a custom true dual x pipe on the car and it just wont fit with the flat dsl crossmember. pics and help asap! thanks!

lol ill sell u my spohn flat mout if it will work for you haha only reason i really need to get the dropdown is because i gotta have a custom 3" true dual made to pass thru the crossmember and the flat one just wont cut it, its close to being able to do it, but not close enough. if i were to run a y pipe, even a 4" pipe would fit with the flat cross member. ughhhhhh lol how often do u bottom out with it?

I was lowered on sportlines and bottomed out on everything thing. It was on and off in 2 hours. If you want to use it better buy some 1.25" lowering springs.

The Sportlines and tunnel mounted torque arms are a mismatch of items that don't work well together. The Sportlines do not have good rates and they sit the car way too low to the ground. Combine this with a low hanging torque arm for a big exhaust and it won't be fun.

If you want to run a tunnel mounted torque arm for long tubes you need to run stock springs or a much less aggressive lowering spring.

If you decide you want the slammed look I recommend a full length torque arm like this- www.umiperformance.com/2205

I hope that helps,
Ryan
