Poly Motor Mounts HELP!
Hey guys I have my whole k member out for an engine swap and I'm installing new poly motor mounts. I've got one side in but for the life of me I cant seem to get the other side to line up be it with a pry bar, jack, or cherry picker. Both motor mounts are correctly in the clamshell with the tabs facing up. This may sound like a dumb question but is there a right and left side motor mount clamshell? They look the same to me but who knows maybe I got one side mixed up with the other?

PASS SIDE
DRIVERS SIDE
Thats what I'm thinking I'm going to try next I was trying to avoid it from fear that it may shift the engine around a little too much when trying to put it back in the car but I dont think it will be that bad and seems like the only option.

You're good, you don't need to loosen any bolts. All you need to do is pick up on the left side of the engine only since the right side bolt is already in. Pick the weight up some, and use a pry bar carefully if you have to and get the hole sorta lined up and force the head of the bolt in far enough that you can tap it with a hammer. Tap it till it comes out the back. Done that a million times.

I feel for ya man........ two weeks ago I did mine while I was doing my LT's.
Now this last time was my 4rth time doing these helping various friends out so I had a pretty darn good idea of what needed to be done. Well for some reason my care was the pain in the ***. It took me probably 10 hr's & 3 separate times installing them & uninstalling them.
I was so pissed the last attempt....... I had ALL bolts lose still ... but this time I had my long bolts in & lose. I could only get one bolt in the drivers side pedestal because the alignment for the pedestal just was not there for my car.
I finally went with my original idea of a pitch bar to force things where they needed to be to get the last three bolts in (all pedestal bolts).
I had no pitch/pry bar here at the house...... & I was going to be damned if I didnt spend all day on it & not get it........
So I took all the weights off my curlbar in the garage & placed it through the middle of the drivers side pedestal & used it as a pry bar. It worked after a try or two.
If I had it all to do over again Id definitely want a friend around for help!
It would have been quite a bit easier.
