If your talking a 2005+ STS those are on the Sigma platform. Guess what other car is on the Sigma platform, 2003-2007 CTS-V. It has an LS2 or LS6 under the hood depending on the year. The 08 CTS-V are on Sigma2 with an LSA.

Should be able to use mounts and brackets from the 1st gen CTS-V for your LQ9 swap. Possibly even the wiring harness/ECU/ect as well.

All 2005+ STS cars are either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive.
No, the STS-V is only RWD. And it has a Supercharged 4.4L Northstar. The non-V STS was available with AWD and the N/A 4.6L Northstar.

I would personally love to see a regular STS with an LS motor and a 4L80 swapped in.

Bottom line is without a power adder an LS/4l80 STS is gonna be a turd. Hell just take a first gen cts-v, remove the 6 speed and add another 400lbs and youll havea car that might break 100mph in the 1/4.

Now an LQ4 with a turbo and 4l80 and your talking, otherwise an STS-V isnt very ahrd to make 470rwhp and more torque then an N/A LSX.

Really? As easy as it is to get 400+ out of a mild build you think it will be slow? I bet an LS/4L80 heads, cam, headers, and a tune would smack the **** out of a '94-'96 Impala SS. And no one thinks those are "turds".
