TSP Vs Mast Motorsport heads
which one of these two heads is the best, TSP LS3 CNC ported heads, or Mast Motorsport Rectangular Port LS3 11 Degree Med Bore CNC Assembled.
i'm running now a cammed ls3, daily use , might go NOS in few months
which one do you recommend
do you think i'll get better performance if i changed the throttle & intake, i've read that stock intake is very good performance wise.

The MAST heads may have a thicker deck, how useful this is for you depends on how much nitrous you plan to apply. On paper they appear to flow better but that comes at a cost.
Have you considered WCCH Stage 2 or 3 LS3 heads? The TSP and MAST heads are at opposite ends of the price scale, WCCH kind of between. Worth looking at, might be able to use yours as a core and save a few $$.

I believe the MAst heads are EACH. Not a pair.

WCCH Stage 3 L92 heads $2244.56 price from their web site - including new castings. Stage 2 under $2100. Worth a call to see if they would credit you for your heads as cores.
When comparing the flow charts, make sure they are all referencing the same bore size - many flow on 4.125 and get higher results. Also, watch flow at less than peak lift - your valves are not at peak very long - lower lift numbers are very critical.

Apples to oranges comparison. They both may flow within 30cfm on paper, but price, quality, deck thickness, valve angles (depending on which Mast LS3 Rec. Port head you go with) they are totally different.
TSP heads are great heads, but if you want to say you payed more than double the price for heads that may make you 15-40rwhp depending on application, you have to ask yourself is it worth that much more to you. Personally I'd go with the Scoggin Dickey heads. They are a lot cheaper and just about as good or the Procomp castings.
Someone can pull up the Hot Rod comparison of the Rectangular Port heads a year or so back....

I am curius to see TSPs PRCs small bore LS7 heads on a LS3 417 with a FAST and matching 102TB. IIRC. their head is still a few weeks away though.

The OP is asking about LS3 heads. However, like I mentioned in my post, some actual information on the two from you would be great to back up your claim. Not bent out of shape at all. Just asking for information to support your claim on either LS3 or LS7 castings.
