Default Location of orifice tube on 98 Z28

Getting ready to fix the a/c system on my best friends car and I want to put a new orifice tube in it. I figured its up by the condenser, probably in one of the lines going into it. I'm also putting a cam in the car next week so if it is, it'll be 10x easier for me just to remove the condenser while I'm working on the car anyways.

I would appreciate any input even if it is verifying where I thought. Also if for some reason anyone has pictures of its location it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Where the lower line is slightly bigger....the orifice is inside that piece right where it bolts up. You will need a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it out.

Greatly appreciated... I searched but "orifice tube location 98 z28" got the response too long or too common... Both results I've had experience with in real life lol Thanks a lot because honestly I'd expect a mod to be all gung ho on "didn't you search first..." lol.

Yeah well I made that picture years ago bc quite frankly its easier to show then to try and explain. And just by looking under the hood it would be hard for a novice to figure it out without dismantling the whole AC system

so an Otube is pretty much the same as an expansion valve?
im more familiar with commercial AC's, not automotive, so this is kinda confusing
