Just installed GForce Axle
Just got done installing my Gforce driver side axle. Took it to the hobby shop on base, it took me and a friend about 3 1/2 hours to complete. The only thing we had problems with was getting the side of the axle with the ring on it into the cv joint, but we figured it out after beating on it for an hour and not getting anywhere. It was easy to get on once we stopped to think about it. He pushed the ring down into the groove with 2 screw drivers, then I forced it on by hand with my body weight. Everything else was a breeze. I was scared to try it out, not because of the axle but because I didnt know for sure if we did everything right. Once I got close to my house, I went down an empty back road and got on it a couple of times. First time I rev'd it up to 2k and took off, no wheel hop. That was good because before, I did the same thing and got some wheel hop. 2nd time I rev'd it up to 3k, same result just alot more wheel spin. 3rd and final time I rev'd it to almost 3.5k and no wheel hop, just alot of spinning and fishtailing. Each time I power shifted into 2nd and no hop at all, just more wheel spin. I didnt think I need to go past 3.5k because I wouldnt take off any faster, it would just be more spinning. I have to say this was a great investment and this car should have came with it. Now this was only with the single side axle, I am pretty much stock so it should be enough for me until I add more power. I will try to take it to the track in the next week or so to see how it does there. Thanks to Gforce for a A+ product.

Let me know when you're ready to install, I'll make you a thick stainless washer so you can get the stock axles off the CV.

Its recommended to get both, because the other stock axle is not as strong and will still cause some wheel hop. Yes they say that if you buy both it will take more of the hop away. I am assuming that the more power you put down the more you will need both axles. I am pretty much stock and the single axle is working fine for me, but when I start adding power I will definitely get the other axle as well.

I see 06black.. said it was the drivers side. I don't recall which one you're suppose to replace, if doing one.
