Default Is swearing allowed?

Because I'm the biggest phacking dooma$$ allowed to walk the streets without adult supervision! And I'm 37...

So, I had a set of wheels I needed to powdercoat last weekend and decided to do the 2 spares I had for the V. Tonight I figured I'd swap tires and wheels on the right side of the car real quick to see how they look and so I could get a start on 2 for the other side.

This was my first time changing runflats and I was expecting the worse. However, it went incredibly smooth. Right up until taking off the back beed on the second wheel and... (I was even recalling the time dad told me they broke his tpms sensor at the kawasaki dealership a year ago, "only a dumbass would break a sensor" I said) POP! I'm now qualified to wear a helmet while walking. I didn't just break it, the sonofabeesting disentigrated, looked for 5 minutes and couldn't find it!

"Screw it" I thought and threw a regular stem in, mounted, and put it on the balancer. Hearing a racket, I thought I broke my balancer, then it dawned on me, "Son of a motherless goat!" It was in the dumn tire.

It was getting dark so I threw it back on the car. It sounds like I'm dragging a couple beer cans until I hit 15 mph and my dash reads 11 psi. Oh well, off to Ebay...

What have you done stupid recently that you are willing to admit?

I didnt ruin anything but a simple job wound up taking me a couple of days. When I changed out my broken axle, I tried for three+ hours on my back under the car until the wee hours of the morning to get the new axle back in just by sqeezing it into the center section with my hands because I didnt want to damage anything. I've never owned an IRS car before..all fbodys and trucks. I gave up and talked to a few friends and they reminded me that the cv's are pretty resilient so the next day I just lined it up from the side of the car, gave it one push and it snapped into place...DOH! I had the car back together in 45 minutes.

Oh I did do something similar to that too. I hit a HUGE pothole ~60mph in a corner. No obvious damage to the wheel at the time but later figured out I recracked the wheel that the previous owner attempted to have fixed. The shop that fixed the crack did it right and would recommend them to anyone needing a wheel fixed in Louisiana

I spent over 3 hours trying to get my fuel filter out with a release tool that wouldn't work. The next day I picked up the plastic flexible ones from Advanced and had it out and re-installed in 10 minutes...

Hung out with my first x girlfriend, then had sex with her in the front seat of my at-the-time current girlfriends brothers car.

Yeah, I AM an *******.

Also, when I got my Miata long, long ago, I spun out in the rain and almost hit a cop SUV. That was interesting.

I think I am the only person I know that went to a track, worried all day long about breaking rear end related equipment, and ended up with a broken throttle body.... mod hell

I was running down the stairs jumped and bashed my head into the ceiling. Now 4 staples later I'm thinking it wasn't a good idea to jump.

Did that while drunk running to the toilet so I could Needless to say, I didn't make it to the restroom.

Car related... I broke an electronic brake pad sensor on my wife's BMW while changing her brakes... and NO, I haven't told her.

Where do I start?

I was pulling a control arm on my blazer and had lowered the arm all the way before I disconnected my sway bar... so instead of supporting the lower arm and then disconnecting the sway bar linkage, I just unscrewed the bolt and when it passed the last thread the lower arm shot to the floor and snapped the $60 ABS wire which I had also failed to disconnect.

Less than a week after I had gotten new tires in the V I was easing right onto a merge lane to get on the highway after work. As I was checking for oncoming traffic to my left, I drifted just a hair too far to the right during the curve and NAILED the curb. Busted a nice hole in my new sidewall. No spare in this bad boy so I had to call the GF who has AAA for a tow.

Moved my girlfriends mother's Prius in the driveway to make room for me to get out before I went to help my sister move... an hour away. I forgot I had her key in my pocket. She was without her car for a day that day.

Those are just the first few that came to mind from the last two months... I do stupid **** all the time.
