Whats the limit spraying out the hole on a stock 10 bolt
Im wanting to hit it with a 100 on a wot switch i usually leave off idle i have 3.73 gears and i run 26" et drag radials i may go up to 28" I know everyones luck is different lol. I have heard full slicks are more forgiving then drag radials but i really dont make enough power for slicks

If it's automatic it will last longer than a manual one, because automatic transmissions are easier on rear ends than manuals, because the drivetrain is pre-loaded when you launch.
With a manual the drivetrain is unloaded, then the load is applied suddenly.
It's difficult to say how much it will hold. Once I tuned a 99 TA and the rear end grenaded the first launch w/slicks. The owner upgraded to a Dana 60 and now it's running 12's. A friend of mine has a Camaro running low 11's with stock 10 bolt. So who knows

many mid 1.4x's and a best of 1.43 on 275/40/17 M/T radials
The stock rearend and stock 4L60E never gave up. We have upgraded to a Strange 12 bolt and FLT Level 4 knowing at some point it was bound to let go.
I know of many other friends / cars that have been low 1.5's to high 1.4's on stock 10 bolts with auto's.

I'm getting 1.6 60's now on motor with some bald 26" mt dr I don't think it will get better on those tires I'm going to throw some 28" on there debating on dr or slicks my goal is a 1.4 1.5 60' on spray

I went a 1.43 on a 10 bolt a bunch of times with 275 radials, a stock torque arm and stock antiroll bar. Like ATV said, as soon as it shakes the tires, you'll kill it. Exactly what happened to mine.
One pass the tires hung 6" in the air and the car went a new best to the 1/8... The next pass I got into some tire shake, stayed in it because it was eliminations and the other guy was either late or had problems, and all of a sudden it blew the passenger rear tire off. Finished the pass, limped it back to the trailer, and pulled out a bunch of pieces of worm gear and a carrier that was broken nearly in half.

I can do 1.6's on motor all day. Was having issues with my progressive not locking out first gear so after a few passes I decided to take it off and spray it out of the hole. Traction was a issue but I got it down the track
Another thing to mention is I'm not launching it high cause I'm on the stock rear and tranny so no high stallin or anything until they are upgraded.

Thats not what I was after. The point is that in a rear-end that has 3.23 gears, the ring gear is thicker which gives it some strength compared to say 3.73 or 4.10's. Rears with deeper gears tend to shear off the teeth of the ring gear easier than a 3.23 geared rear. So in turn you can abuse a 3.23 rear more than a 4.10 rear, not saying that a 3.23 rear is bulletproof by any means.
