TR6IX Gap Recommendations
Just picked up some NGK tr6ix plugs, and jegs 8.5 wires. The nitrous sticky says to run .035-.038 with these plugs, but NGK recommends .040. Has anyone used these and what did you gap them at?
95 Camaro, full exhaust and a 125 wet shot.
any advice is appreciated

Not sure why this isnt a Sticky but it should be for dummies who say TR6's are OK for nitrous.
Thank you drive thru.

I've read that thread, and it has some great info. It lead me to go with the tr6's because i daily drive this car, with only spraying the car on the weekends. FYI one of those nitrous stickies also recommends the TR6's

You can daily drive with a non projected 6 or 7 with no issues.
sell them or throw them in the trash..... I dont understand why some guys wont listen... the guys who know will tell you to run a non projected plug the guys who dont will guess at what you should gap them to.

Look at the date on the sticky that says its OK..... probably 5-6 years old.

I just cancelled my order for the TR6's. I'm sure there are people out there that have used them successfully, but common sense is telling me that a projected tip would cause detonation.
So a br6ef is the plug for me?? mods in sig
if so what gap

.032 to .035 will be fine. With minimal mods i would probably lean more to the .035 side.
FYI - ATVracr has one of the fastest LS cars in the country. Be humble and learn from him...

I respect what atvracr has to say and I humbly changed my order. You're both years ahead of me when it comes to nitrous/tuning.
BR6EF towards a .035 gap sounds good to me.
