What do you plan on using the truck for? That is the biggest factor on cam choice.

If its mainly your "car" and rarely used for heavy towing/hauling is go with a 228/112 like said above.

Not a brand, just a size.228 (duration) 112 (lobe separation) and is stay under .600" of lift so your not eating valve springs.

EPS,Comp cams, and several others make very high quality cams and help you with your final choice

Oh ok that makes sense. And i dont do any towing with my truck. If i do its odds and ends stuff that can be loaded in the bed. I just ordered hardened push rods and been waitin on orderein springs cause i didnt kno if i was gonna be using this MS4 for on. Id love to use it but everyone says that GOTTA have a 3800 or bigger stall and i just dont want all that. I personally dont think itd really be an issue to run a 3200 with that ms4 i guess itll lag a little. And from my understanding that the MS4 has a power band from 2800-6800 or 7200rpm i dont remember right off.

I daily drive an 04 GTO with a 408, 12.56:2 compression, 255/266 .624/.624 115 cam, and a 4,000 rpm stall. Don't be afraid of a big stall, its all in matching your stall to your cam.

I wouldn't run an ms4, or even an ms3 with less than a 4,000 stall. With the Lockup converters we run you can still get decient fuel mileage with these bigger ones once your out of town and up to cruising speeds.
