Default Replacing Steering Gear?

So I am looking to possibly replace the power steering rack, or maybe just the gearing, but what I'm looking for is a little more of a racey feel. I would like the steering wheel turn to actual turn ratio to be a bit less. Possibly a bit less effort on rotating the wheel as well. Does anyone have any useful information or know where I could find some?

There was recently (in the last 2-3 issues) an article about "blueprinted and modified" steering pumps for 4th gen F-bodies. Right off the top of my head, I don't remember exactly which magazine it was in, but I subscribe to "GM High Tech", "Camaro Performers", "Chevy High Performance", and "Popular Hot Rodding', so it was in one of those....

Good info, but the turn one pumps appear to be the opposite of what I want, requiring MORE effort to turn the wheel...

the point on the turn one pump is to lessen the parasitic drag of the over pumped stocker and freeing some horsepower in the process

If you're looking for less effort to turn the wheel, and/or change the number of turns lock-to-lock, you'd probably have to change the rack itself.

That's what I assumed, but I just don't know where to look to find a compatible part. Would that be something that I would have to have custom-made/modded?
