my car wouldent start saturday night, so i had it towed to my house. the lights will come on, but the engine will not crank. after i removed the battery today with a new xs power battery, my lights wont even come on. what could possibly be wrong?

Do you have 12v at the starter?

Might be the starter, I recall a member having the same issue, and then having to replace his starter.

car has been at the dealers since Thursday, they still haven't found whats wrong with it yet.

daughters ss monte has 106,000 miles.. sometimes trouble strarting ,at times. ? borrowed tool to check code - said 7e8- po3040 cam sensor.. ordered part gm dealer/ list $40. /paid 27.. also check engnie [yellow light ] 7ea- po455 evporation leak . installed new gm gas cap /did not put light out. otherwise monte runs very good.. any one else have had these, things go wrong ?? rkvette
