I remember when the Hookers first came out that Jet Hot carried them but shortly after they dropped the coated versions and started making their own very similar LTs...and the Flowtechs are flanged where as the Hookers/Jet Hots aren't. Flowtechs are cheaper too but quality might not be quite as good?

Flowtech has a 3 bolt connection by the collector not a slip fit design. Hooker and Jet Hot are the same the thing, Jet Hot has the coating which helps preserve the integrity of the headers better.

Do the Jet-Hot's require grinding and bending like the pacesetters?

i just installed a set of flowtechs on my car and they sound great. the three bolt flange was a vitch though(pardon my french) all that i had to remove was the steering shaft witch was pretty simple.the y-pipe didnt match up right either. I had to do alot of tugging and forcing but for less than 500 you cant expect it to go perfect. They sound like a RAPED APE THOUGH!!!

Jet Hot's have a thicker flange at the head over Hooker. My Jet Hots required a little grinding of a casting 'nub' on the engine block - 5 minute fix. Then they slid right in. No complaints yet
