Default Brembo OE front rotors for $25

Found another good deal on Summit! Brembo OE front brake rotors for $25 each. If I didn't just recently purchase the same rotors during a previous sale, I'd be all over this!

They work just fine for me, but I don't use my car for much spirited driving anymore since I'm on probation and don't feel like going to jail. So for a daily driver, they're great!

Gosh darn it. I bought one pair when it was $50 a piece, now I bought another pair. Now I have two pairs (4 total) sitting in my garage.

I have been told that they are identical to stock replacement rotors found at most generic auto parts stores, from a brake parts supplier that I know. I took it with a grain of salt. However...

True or false?

The current pricing explains that theory pretty well.

That very well might be the case, but I am just a sucker for Brembos.

I would have to agree with the generic part. it would have to be sold only on the basis of their name to ask over a 100 bucks a piece for them, but sell them for $25 during this sale. I'll wait and buy something else

Brembo's been outsourcing their rotor manufacture for a while now. For $25 a rotor, they're not too bad, but I wouldn't pay the "brand-name premium" they used to command for any new rotors they're making.

They're not drilled or anything, and they are OE, so I'd say they are identical to stock.

I'm talking in terms of strength/wear/metallurgy in addition to appearance.
