I like both the Sweet thunder chambered mufflers and the dynomax bullets. Either will be loud but have a good tone.

Flowmaster 1 chambers are a tad quieter at idle and part throttle but imo sound the best. At wot they are equal loudness and imo still a better tone. They flow extremely close as well.

Magnaflow bullets sound clean. part #14419 I think. Try listening to Borla XR-1s too, Borla never dissapoints.

I have SLP Loudmouths, I like them, but to some people they are too loud. It all depends on what you like and how loud you want it. You can check the Multimedia Exchange section of the forum, they might have what you are looking for.

i have sweet thunders and love them.......there's no doubt they're loud, i can't really drive my car quietly in town......but they definitely have the aggressive tone i was looking for.....if you're staying with bolt ons i'd recommend them, but remember the sweet thunder mufflers actually neck down to 2.25 on the inside....if you plan to do heads/cam one day, i'd go ahead and get the TSP bullets.......i just ordered a set of 3.5 powerstick mufflers to go in place of my sweet thunders, both have the same basic design, but the powersticks have a full 3" inside diameter......hoping it'll flow a little better and keep the same tone

I have mine with the Bullets.I LOVE them. No doubt it is loud when WOT, but it is pretty tame at cruising speeds, though I still only have the stock cam.

No experience, but I was recently reading a thread where a guy had put Magnaflow 4x9, 3" mufflers on and loved the sound. Magnaflow XL's I believe.

Bullets sounded great on my Lane's duals at idle, cruise, and WOT; not so much on the TSP duals. I have Power Sticks on the TSPs now and those mufflers will be staying.

Flowmaster single-chambers and 4x9 Magnaflows sound good, if you can make them fit.

Here are the moroso spiral flows. I get a lot of compliments on it and I love it, but after lowering my car I need to go back to a y pipe.

Just for the love of God put some kind of muffler in there. Nothing but pipes sounds like complete *******. Nothing to do with "too loud", it just sounds like a redneck farmtruck from hell.

You need at least a 12" mullet to rock straight pipes on a f-body.
