Default What should I upgrade next?

Hey everyone,
I have about $800 to spend on the trans am but im not sure what I should do. I currently have rebuilt ls1 with
hooker LT's
ORY
hooker aerochamber muffler
LS6 intake
SLP lid (flow pack)
katech belt tensioner
85mm Tb professional products
85mm z06 maf
Level 2 t56 rebuild from tick performance
ws6store Short stick
Ram powergrip HD clutch
4.10 gears
TA performance girdel
bilsten shocks front
kyb gr-2 rear
Slp springs from 1LE SS
drilled and slotted rotors on their way

dyno tuned @ 360rwhp (says last owner) Shop has dyno sheet though.

what do you guys think i should do next, since im on stock suspension other than shocks and springs i was thinking Umi Lca's, phb, torque arm, and sway bar getting it all new for $450.

Do you think thats good for now? I was also considering putting some drag radials on...thoughts???

Also thought about a cam, a friend is selling a 228/228 .598/.598 112 with pushrods and springs for 400 and another friend was gonna help with the install (he's done cam swaps before).

What do you guys think i should do?

PHB, LCA, Sub Frame connectors, torque arm.. i would suggest to focus on suspension before you put anything else on the motor. I wish I would have done it that way myself.

how about a cam? have you added one yet? a good one can add between 40 ~ 50 hp. but your looking at a lot of money with labor costs

I was thinkin of going with nitto nt05r or 555r just because everthing else is so expensive, i really would like wider wheels so i can throw some 315's in the back

still on stock cam, like i mentioned above i was thinkin a 228/228 112 lsa that my buddy is selling for 400 with rods and springs and a friend will install for 160, so im looking at 560 all done but i'd still need a tune a friend said he can get me one for 200. but all done im at 760 and i wouldnt be able to put the power to the ground. so i will wait on a cam, or get it installed and wait on the tune..??? not sure yet lol

that's not too bad for an installed cam with a tune. mine cost way more but i bought it new. for $800 you could run spray also. that's within your budget i think. dunno if you wanna go that route or not but it's something to consider.

Stick with getting your suspension up to snuff. You'll gain far more by being able to get your power to the ground than just adding 25RWHP. All the HP in the world makes no difference if you can't put it to the ground.

thanks for the responses guys. i got the suspension parts tonight.

UMI Tunnel brace mounted torque arm
UMI Double Adjustable Lower Control Arms
Edelbrock Adjustable Panhard bar
Stsuspension rear sway bar (only the bar...i hope i can use the stock parts to mount it)

Hopefully ill have it all on within a week. Also got all my stock parts, ls1 intake, exhaust manifolds, stock wheels with good tires. probably gonna sell all that stuff.

I attached an image of the suspension parts, let me know what you guys think

That looks like a great start keep on beffing up that suspension so that you can put that power down in the future.

be carful with the drag radials and you 4.10s on a stock 10 bolt, you will probably bust your rear end for sure 4.10s are the weakest gears you can get for a 10 bolt.

If you do go with a cam though might as well get you some ls2 heads on the cheep at the same time to maximize that cam. also you will increase compression a bit as well. 243 heads on a cammed ls1 is a great and inexpensive way to feel some power on the top end

I really do want to do a cam but i think im gonna wait on it, a friend might sell me his Torquer V2 cam its a 232/234 112 lsa that he only had on for a month. but ill wait to install it til i have more money, and some 243 heads were what i was planning on just because if i got new ones they are so expensive.

I do get really nervous about my rear end, that would be a pricey upgrade to go to a 9 inch that i want to do one day, just not yet. I dont want to hook from a dig but just to be able to press on the gas in first or second without spinning my tires. but i think all of the suspension stuff will help with that.
