Default *PICS* My Powder Coated Billet Specialties

Well after a bad experience with the first coater, I finally got my wheels back from the second guy.

Here are a couple shots of the wheels after I got them back from the first coater. He obviously had NO idea what the hell he was doing and screwed up the wheels. He tried to sand the powder out of the spokes and ended up cutting grooves into the wheel, I've got pics of that but not on this computer. Luckily I had a new spare set of fronts that I took to the second guy along with the rears.

FIRST COATER

Second Coater that done the wheels correct!

I can't believe that the first guy had the ***** to give you the wheels in that condition. Where did you find him? Does he powdercoat for a living? They look good now.

Yeah the first guy does it for a living but mostly big stuff. He said he could do custom work and attempted to coat these three times. His excuse was there is something in the wheel counter-acting with the powder. He tried to use red silicone to cover things up instead of taping it. He is a local guy here is southern Ohio

Lucky for me I got my money back but that still doesn't fix what he done. I thought about small claims court but I would have double what the wheels are worth invested. Trust me I have ran his name and shop into the ground for the last three weeks

I've got other pictures of them and they look far worse than these. The ones posted don't do justice on how bad he screwed them up.

The first guy should be fired then stoned to death for that terrible job. The second guy did a great job.

Sucks about the issues with the first coater, but looks like the second coater did a great job. Now I can't say mine are the only coated ones like that anymore lol.

When fastbillet had them for sale I saved the pics and knew I wanted mine that way. You can say you have the 17s done like this, mine are 15s

I had black vinyl inserts on mine before but wanted to do something different and this really sets them apart from the others. Not to mention is changed the look of my CE
