IIRC, the previous owner of the car said that the guy he bought it from had 2 Camaros, and he wrecked the other one but liked the Z28 spoiler more. My buddy has an SS spoiler waiting to go on once the car gets painted. (Yes, it's a WU8, we checked.)

Please tell me that the Mazda Speed owner is that guy that got banned from STLM. Before he got banned he was saying that he was pulling 4Vs and LS1s hard from a roll. I didn't realize he meant in reverse.

That would be him. He said he followed someone home one night and included the address. He was banned within a few days.

Nice vids, that G8 rolls out well especially from a dig! Fbody guys were hating on them when they came out, but from what I've seen they are fairly comparable to a LS1 fbody once any kind of modding starts- and only a tad slower bone stock.
Loved the outtakes too.

I was surprised how everybody had such poor traction. When I do a nice short burnout, my car seems to stick very well on the street. Then again, my boat anchor has nearly no power until the shot so different story I guess
Love the G8. Definitely want one after seeing Ron's and how that one performed and my own experiences with them.

The street is a little dusty, plus it's grooved which means less rubber on pavement.Then you can put your cam in and re-run.

"Fast" is all relative to your competition. And from what I've seen personally, the more powerful/faster you make your car the less "fun" you have with it. Even if you are running guys just as fast as your 10 or 11 second ride every weekend, the competition is so fierce it takes away alot of the fun IMO. Of course that didn't stop me from going with the heads/cam/stall 402 in my GTO... lol

Ah gotca, Yeah I like to run him before my new cam goes in. would be a good run. My best trap is 115 mph with the hotcam, So with the new cam and ls6 intake I hoping 120+ but I never get my hopes up. Then a redo with the new cam if he tears me up lol
