Default nitrous A/F ratio needed?

I am going to be getting a 125 shot wet plate kit within the next two weeks. Will I need an air fuel ratio gauge? How helpful will it be? Is it a worthwhile investment? Thanks for the help guys

If you are doing tuning you need a wide band. When spraying nitrous a wide band can give you an average of what your a/f ratio is but its always best to pull your plugs and read them to find your leanest cylinder. Your plugs will tell you if your lean or rich and I would always go off what the plugs say over just reading a wide band.

unless you're on a dyno, good luck keeping your eyes on the AF gauge while spraying...

Is it worth getting or no? It does have a cool appearance aspect to it as well

I would STRONGLY recommend getting one. FWIW, my WB saved my motor. I somehow dropped my tune and was running WAYY lean. Thank god for that wideband.

It is a very nice tool to add. Besides having it as a check and balance sort of device. You can also use it too make sure that your changes in jetting are acting as you think they should.

Agreed. While I do not want people tuning purely with a wideband, they are a great tool.

NGK has a nice one. Also the LM1 is a nice one. Its ugly but works well and is easy to move between cars.

What about autometer gauges from summit. And what gauges do you recommended for a Nitrous set up? Nitrous gauge, a/f ratio wideband, fuel pressure etc? Thanks fellas
