Default TSP 347 PRC stg 2.5 5.3 an ls6 cam

I just got my car tuned today an it put down 381hp an 374 tq. Not what I hoped for but a lot better tq than my ms3.

I wouldn't be too disappointed. What are the other mods...intake, exhaust, headers, etc? A stock Z06 with the LS6 cam and 243 heads will make around 360RWHP.

Numbers seem a little low, is the car an auto or a m6. Nick tuned my car as well..How does it run?

These numbers do seem a bit low for a heads/cam car..Even if it is a LS6 cam. Just out of curiosity why did you go with a LS6 cam?

Yikes, that's pretty rough. My LS6 cam-only setup made 372 hp through a stalled auto and a 12-bolt.

Yeah that's what I thought. Weird thing is I dynoed at newtech, just pacesetters an ory a lid an fast 90/90 put 347hp 357tq. An then with new motor prc 5.3 heads an ms3 an ls7 clutch an only put down 409hp 367tq so gained 10tq from h/c. Then went back an put a ls6 cam in an changed headers to tsp 1 7/8 and new design y pipe, 85mm maff an lid upgrade an a hooker catback over flowmaster. An only put 381hp.

All numbers were through m6 stock rearend an gearing the only number that seems on par was minor bolt ons. Especially for having heads. I trapped 113 with 347hp an raced quite a few cars when I have 409 an id guess it would have trapped 120 but was a pig down low with ms3.

Yeah I feel the numbers are very low I was thinking 400 if not 390 an that was just to not get my hopes up it runs a lot better but doesn't feel like the 409hp I had. I'm all out of ideas as to why every combo I have put out worse than average #s

So You changed your ms3 to ls6 for more under the curve power and more tq ?

I think you will make more under the curve and tq with aftermarket 22x duration cams

What is your compression ratio ?

Go to a different dyno just to be sure. Then, just go back to a larger cam & see what happens. I think a MS3 cam should be worth about +30-35hp. over a LS6 cam. Is your compression still the same?

Yeah I wanted more useable power under curve cause with ms3 I had no power till 5k wasn't fun daily driving. Compression is 11 something not to high.

No power until 5k? That doesn't sound right. Do you have the proper gears for a bigger cam like that?

Do you have a dynograph that we could look at it? Maybe it will tell us something as to why the car doesn't make power.

Yea ill try posting it when I get home from work. I had stock gears an stock rear. But like I said from minor bolt ons to heads an ms3 only gained 10tq on the same dyno. My motor only had 1k on it at that time now has 12k or so. Same compression for all dynos.

Also I have the wrong pushrod length for the ls6 cam I don't know if that would hurt the numbers or not but tuner said everything seemed fine just valvetrain is a little louder than it should be

Definitely not doing you any favors...wrong pushrods could really hurt your numbers.
