I was just looking through an old thread where someone posted an ebay ad for the LT1 WS6 airbox. I happened to click on it and it showed the winning bid
$550
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Trans...d=248824153973
I paid less than that for my OEM airbox AND OEM hood
$550

I knew they pulled big money, but not THAT much. the last one i saw pull anything near that was one with a K&N filter and a MAF and it sold for $382.
someone should take one and find a way to make copies of it.

hell no! everyone knows the LT1 WS6 airbox is the best setup for an LT1. it seals to the hood and takes air in directly. even the WS6 LS1 lid still pulls it in from in down in front of the radiator. And it's a simple bolt on. no cutting of the core support required.

"I paid $115.xx shipped for my airbox etc. and had to drive 3 hours to pick up my oem hood that I got for $337.xx"
I think I got that right, since I've read it so many times, everytime a LT1 oem airbox and hood thread comes up you brag about your savings, good for you but......

ok so i put that in there, but i didn't specifically say how much i paid for the airbox. does it really ******* matter? i made the post to show how much those things are going for now, not to brag about what i paid back in the day. i was merely using what i paid as a reference to show how much more the stuff costs now
I bet you're just butthurt because you either 1. can't find one or 2. paid way to much for one.

So this conversation never took place with alleged witnesses?
First time you hung out with all of us and got wings at tower shops. You tipped the lady 30 cents. So it stuck.

Wrong! It was ice cream at Original Steak House in Coral Springs.
Oh yeah. He wanted to write me a check for paying for him at Lefty's. lol good times good times.

I think it was $.20 actually. Nothing like eating three whole baskets of free bread sticks and an ice cream and leaving pennies for a tip. Stay classy.
