The car is completely stock except for 3 things: MTI clear lid; graphite crossed-drilled slotted rotors with ceramic pads on all four corners; no catback exhaust. I had plans of replacing the stock exhaust with a different exhaust, and never got around to it.
The vehicle's history is as follows:
I am the third owner of the vehicle. After searching for MANY MANY months for a Black on Black m6 loaded LS1 SS, I purchased the from a vehicle private party in June 2005. I have owned the vehicle since it had only 24,300 miles.
The vehicle has never been to the track.
The vehicle has never been in an accident. The vehicle's Carfax confirms this.
Under my ownership, and to my knowledge, no panel of the vehicle has been re-painted.
The vehicle has been meticulously maintained:
synthetic oil changes
In the spring of 2010 the following maintenance items were completed: the replacement of all 8 plugs with iridiums, new msd wires, new brake pads and rotors, brake fluid replaced, new fuel filter, and the professional installation of an Exedy Luk clutch and flywheel (first, and only clutch replacement).
In preparation for sale, my SS just received an alignment, and a new Dorman autozone driver's side window motor and regulator.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the vehicle's mechanical condition as a 9. Engine pulls extremely hard and sounds terrific. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The steering is tight, the tires are in complete balance, and the brakes have absolutely no shimmer. The only mechanical flaw is the air conditioning doesn't work.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the vehicle's paint as an 8. With a professional buff, the paint would be a 10.
The interior is an 8/10 in my opinion, because there is a small tear in the driver's seatback (as pictured).
All of that being said, This is a really nice car for the price.
The car is not being driven, and is currently being stored in a parking garage in downtown Chicago. Title is in hand.
I would prefer a local sale. If you would like to schedule a viewing, please send me a pm. The price of the vehicle is firm.
Thank you for your interest in my SS. I genuinely believe the new owner will be very happy with this vehicle, day in and day out. I look forward to facilitating a flawless transaction

Thanks CTSV.
I got the rotors and pads from Brakemotive on ebay. I believe they are based out of Rockford. Amazing brakes for the price. First set of rotors I've owned that haven't warped. I would definitely recommend over a stock Camaro or T/A setup.
