Default L92 Stock Rockers?

Are the L92 stock rocker arms, prown to spill their needle bearings as the
old LS1. Or are they a newer design.
I know Comp Cams has a upgrade turnion kit, but is it needed on these L92.
Thanks fellows.

There are lots of folks running the stock rockers on cammed L92/LS3 mills.

I have seen in a few instances where the stock needle bearings failed, but honestly I've seen people complain more about aftermarket rockers. It wouldn't hurt to upgrade the bearings but I'm not sure if its really necessary.

I did it for peace-of-mind. The upgrade is only 135 bucks and can be done in no time at all if you have access to a press or a bench vise.

Also, if you look at a stock rocker, the middle trunion piece only twists so far in either direction and the upgrade eliminates that. If you were to run a cam with high lift and if it were to bind the rocker against that stopping point I could see it breaking without a doubt.
